We recently launched the new online payment service IPXS. IPXS offers a host of international payment methods that can be linked to different online shopping systems. IPXS offers a safe and modern platform which is linked to external banking and telecoms systems and fulfils an independent role, as an intermediary between consumers, traders and promoters.
Payment of Fixed Amounts
This application is used for activities such as online shopping, topping up e-wallets and video-on-demand services. The amount is calculated beforehand and the customer has a choice of payment systems, with a range of systems being offered per country.
 | Payment via Mobile Phone |
Fixed amounts can also be paid by mobile phone. Many countries work with a so-called Pay-Per-Call number. This is a high-tariff number that offers the possibility of paying per call (irrespective of the call's duration). The maximum rate varies per country. For amounts under €5 it is also common for timed Pay-Per-Second numbers to be used. Customers stay on the line until the required amount has been reached. Example: Top-up line |

Small amounts can also be charged via text messages. The amount is then deposited on the account of the mobile network operator or deducted from the customer’s prepaid balance. |

iDEAL is a reliable, safe and easy method for paying for online purchases. iDEAL makes use of the customer’s standard online banking system to complete an online transaction. The following banks are connected to the iDEAL system: ABN AMRO, Fortis, ING, Rabobank and SNS Bank. |

In cooperation with Belgian banks, Atos Worldline has implemented an online payment system which is available on a growing number of e-commerce sites. To use this system, customers must have a bank account and an online banking subscription with either ING Bank, Fortis Bank, Dexia, Fintro, CBC, KBC, Axa Bank or VDK Spaarbank. There are currently more than 8 million users. Mister Cash is the Belgian counterpart of the Dutch iDEAL system. Example: Mr. Cash demo film |

Home'Pay is a handy payment system, specially designed by ING for Internet transactions in Belgium. The service is offered for free at Home'Bank, ING's solution for home online banking. |

The payment method that is most frequently used online is still payment by credit card. To be able to accept credit card payments, you need to have an agreement with a credit card processor. This requires completing an extensive and complex procedure. IPXS offers the possibility of partaking in an existing contract or, in consultation, submitting an application to become an acceptor to one of the credit card processors. |

Wallie is a pre-paid card for online purchases. The Wallie card works in a similar way to a pre-paid telephone card, only online. Wallie gives you access to cash online anytime. Wallie works in the following way: the cards can be bought in shops for €5, €10, €20 or €50 apiece. The customer removes a grey scratch layer on the back to uncover a unique code made up of 16 numbers and 3 letters. This code can be used for online transactions. IPXS takes care of communications between online retailers and Wallie. |

ClickandBuy is an Internet-based pricing and invoicing system. Opening a ClickandBuy account and linking it to a collection method allows customers to pay for purchases at over 14,000 web shops. ClickandBuy operates in 26 countries, in 126 currencies and in combination with 46 payment methods. Opening a ClickandBuy account also allows customers to make use of the IPXS payment platform and the websites connected to it. |

PayPal is an online payment service that allows customers to pay for purchases from thousands of online retailers safely, easily and quickly. Users with a PayPal account can also transfer money to each other. Transactions via PayPal can be linked to a credit card. PayPal cannot be used on websites that offer erotic services. |
